Mysterious Island Simulator — Guide & About
HeroWarsHub is a community-built project made by players, for players. Our goal is simple: help you spend fewer Explorer’s Moves and earn more rewards on the Mysterious Island. We publish practical tools, transparent calculations, and step-by-step routes so you can make confident, fast decisions for each month’s map.
What we do
Our simulator and guides attach curated routes that balance Emeralds per Move (EPM) with total payout. For each featured path we compute the emerald-equivalent value of every reward (using community pricing sheets such as HWG / rarity-fair baselines), then explain trade-offs—e.g., when a slightly lower EPM path wins because it includes Elemental/Primal Catalysts or other resources you need now.
Why this exists
There are great spreadsheets and calculators out there, but many players still ask a simple question: “Which path is worth my moves?” HeroWarsHub focuses on clear ROI—showing you shortest routes to top towers, plus cheap detours that add big value for a few extra moves.
How we work
- Transparent math. Each page states assumptions and shows totals, EPM, and notable rewards.
- Reproducible results. Screenshots come from simulator runs; follow the same route or tweak to your move budget.
- Updates. We simulate new layouts as they drop and revise routes if better paths are being found.
- No affiliation. We’re an independent fan project.
How we score and rank routes
We compare routes with a simple, checkable formula:
EPM = (Total emerald-equivalent value of rewards) ÷ (Explorer’s Moves spent)
“Emerald-equivalent” means converting each reward into a common unit using consistent values (HWG / rarity-fair). If two paths are within ~5–10% EPM, we prefer the one that returns high-priority items for most accounts (e.g., Catalysts).
Methodology & assumptions
- Fixed towers vs. random chests. Towers are fixed and visible; random “?” chests are random rewards. We report tje average expected rewards.
- Bridges & wood. Where bridges gate islands, we note total wood needed and route to it efficiently; bridge unlocks are included in move counts.
- Event differences. If a month shifts focus (Titans, Flags/Patterns, Ascension), we reprioritize paths accordingly.
Quick start
Pick your primary target (Emeralds, Chaos Particles, Skin Stones, Titan items, War Flag Chest, ...), open the relevant map above, then run the shortest route to that tower. Budget a small buffer (+3–8 moves) for nearby, high-leverage detours.
- Step 1: Choose the current event map.
- Step 2: Check your Explorer’s Moves and any wood/bridge requirements.
- Step 3: To start follow the “Best Paths” notes.
Glossary (fast reference)
- Explorer’s Moves: Special energy spent to reveal hex tiles.
- Towers: Fixed, high-value rewards (e.g., Emeralds, Chaos Particles, Skin Stones, Titan/Artifact bundles, War Flag chests, ...).
- “?” Random Chests: Randomized loot; you will receive slightly higher/lower valued rewards depending on how lucky/unlucky you are.
- Wood & Bridges: Collect wood to unlock bridges that access new island sections.
